The production process of patterned plywood

Patterned plywood is a material with a patterned decorative layer attached to the surface of ordinary plywood. It is widely used in interior decoration, furniture manufacturing, exhibitions and other fields. Let’s learn about the production process of patterned plywood
1. Raw material preparation:
Wood selection: Select high-quality logs for rotary cutting or slicing to obtain veneers.
Pattern paper production: Select high-quality paper and print patterns on the paper through printing or transfer technology.
2. Veneer drying: Dry the veneer obtained by rotary cutting or slicing to reduce the moisture content and prevent the board from deforming.
3. Gluing: Glue the dried veneer and use environmentally friendly glue to ensure the bonding strength.
4. Assembly: Stack multiple layers of veneer in an alternating manner according to the grain direction to ensure the strength and stability of the plywood.
5. Hot pressing: The assembled veneer is hot-pressed under high temperature and high pressure to make each layer of veneer tightly bonded together.
6. Surface decoration:
Paste the pre-printed patterned paper on the plywood surface, and use hot pressing or cold pressing technology to make the decorative layer tightly combined with the substrate.
7. Cutting and trimming:
Cut and trim the pressed patterned plywood to obtain a finished product with uniform specifications.
8. Surface treatment:
Sanding, edge banding, painting and other treatments are performed on the surface of the patterned plywood to improve its aesthetics and durability.
