Laminated HDF Board
Laminated HDF Board is a composite board made of high-density fiberboard (HDF) as the base material, with a decorative layer (such as melamine-impregnated paper, wood veneer, etc.) laminated to the surface under heat and pressure. It is also called decorative HDF board.
Composition of Laminated HDF Board:
1. Base Material: High-density fiberboard (HDF), typically with a density ≥0.80 g/cm³ (some standards require ≥0.88 g/cm³), and a fine and uniform internal structure.
2. Surface Process: Decorative paper (containing resin) is laminated to the base material under high temperature and pressure to form a wear-resistant, scratch-resistant, and aesthetically pleasing surface.
3. Essence: It is an application form of resin-based wood laminate, combining the strength of HDF with the decorative properties of a laminated surface.

2. Strong Dimensional Stability: HDF substrate density ≥0.80 g/cm³, with a uniform and dense internal structure, is minimally affected by temperature and humidity changes, and is not prone to warping or deformation.
3. Rich Decorative Effects: Laminated HDF Board surfaces can simulate various textures such as wood grain and stone grain, with uniform color, achieving high-end decorative effects without additional painting.
4. Excellent Processing Performance: The dense edges of the substrate facilitate irregular cutting, carving, or grooving, resulting in smooth cuts. In some processes, direct coating is possible without edge sealing.
Applications of Laminated HDF Board:
1. Laminate Flooring Substrate: This is the most widespread application. HDF’s high density and stability make it an ideal core material for laminate flooring. After a wear-resistant layer is laminated onto the surface, it possesses extremely high wear and scratch resistance.
2. High-End Furniture Manufacturing: Laminated HDF Board is used to manufacture cabinet doors, wardrobes, desks, TV cabinets, etc. After lamination, the surface can simulate wood grain and stone textures without additional painting, and it is easy to process irregular edges and carvings.
3. Interior Decoration and Furnishing: Laminated HDF Board is used as wall panels, partitions, security door panels, and interior door core panels. It has good dimensional stability and is suitable for large-area vertical or horizontal surface decoration.
4. Commercial and Public Spaces: Laminated HDF Board is widely used in office partitions, shop display shelves, hotel furniture, and school facilities. The laminated surface has antibacterial, stain-resistant, and easy-to-clean properties, making it suitable for high-load environments.
5. Special Functional Components: Laminated HDF Board is used to manufacture anti-static flooring for computer rooms, speaker enclosures, interior trim for luxury cars, and protective racks for transporting goods.
