Applications of Slotted Board (Grooved MDF Panel Board)
Slotted board (also known as Grooved MDF panel board ), or MDF or other types of board with equidistant grooves on its surface, is a common building material used in various decoration projects. It is widely used in display cabinet manufacturing for commercial displays, warehousing, and home decoration.
Slotted board is usually single-sided laminated, with common dimensions of 2440×1220mm and thicknesses of 15mm and 18mm.

Main uses of grooved panels (slatted panels):
1. Merchandise display racks: Commonly used in musical instrument stores (e.g., guitars, mobile phones, jewelry), bookstores, supermarkets, etc., as wall-mounted panels, with hooks or aluminum strips for flexible display.
2. Storage and organization systems: Used as tool walls and warehouse hanging panels to hang tools, parts, etc., improving space utilization.
3. Retail displays: Used in clothing stores, jewelry stores, electronics product counters, etc., supporting customized layouts and easy repositioning of goods.
4. Background Walls and Decorations: Some products have melamine or wood grain finishes, offering both aesthetic appeal and suitability for background walls or display area decoration in commercial spaces.
5. Customized Display Case Components: These can be cut to different sizes and combined with specialized brackets, shelves, hooks, and other accessories to create modular display systems.
This material typically uses 15mm or 18mm thick MDF boards with wood grain, black, white, or melamine coatings. It is characterized by low cost, ease of processing, and moderate load-bearing capacity. However, attention should be paid to its environmental protection rating, as some products may release formaldehyde. It is recommended to choose products that meet E1 or higher environmental standards.
