Due to its uniform structure, fine material, stable performance, impact resistance and easy processing, MDF board is widely used in domestic furniture, decoration, musical instruments and packaging.
Specifications of Slotted Grooved MDF: The thickness is mostly 12-18mm, the slot width/spacing is customized (such as 128mm, 195mm strips), and it uses tongue and groove splicing. It is easy to install but requires a dry environment.
Applications of Slotted Grooved MDF:
Display and Showcase Systems: Such as open display walls, magazine racks, and picture hanging systems. Slotted Grooved MDF utilizes slots for quick installation of metal hooks or shelf brackets.
Interior Wall Finishes: Slotted Grooved MDF is used for feature walls, wainscoting, and acoustic panels (with perforated backing and sound-absorbing felt) to enhance acoustics.
Furniture and Custom Cabinets: Slotted Grooved MDF is used as a base material for door panels, drawer side panels, and storage partitions, supporting customized grooving and veneer treatments.
Commercial Space Decoration: Slotted Grooved MDF is widely used in modular walls and partitions in shops, showrooms, hotels, and other venues.
Acoustic Engineering: Slotted Grooved MDF grooved acoustic panels can be used in opera houses, recording studios, and other venues with high acoustic requirements. Standard thickness is 12–18mm.
Note: Grooved MDF is primarily used in dry indoor environments and is not recommended for use in damp areas such as kitchens and bathrooms. If it is to be used, all six sides should be sealed with paint.
