Particle board is also called chipboard. Various branches, small-diameter wood, fast-growing wood, sawdust, etc. are cut into pieces of certain specifications, dried, mixed with glue, hardener, waterproofing agent, etc., and pressed under a certain temperature and pressure to make a kind of artificial board.

Characteristics of Laminated Particle Board:
A. It has good sound absorption and sound insulation performance; Laminated Particle Board is heat-insulating and sound-absorbing;
B. The interior is a cross-staggered granular structure, the performance of each direction is basically the same, and the lateral bearing capacity is relatively poor;
C. The surface of particleboard is flat and can be veneered in various ways;
D. In the production process of particleboard, the amount of glue used is small, and the environmental protection coefficient is relatively high.
Applications of Laminated Particle Board:
Laminated particle board is primarily used in interior furniture and decoration projects, balancing cost, flatness, and aesthetics. However, it is not suitable for high-humidity or load-bearing structures.
1. Cabinet Furniture: Laminated particle board is widely used in wardrobes, cabinets (cabinet body and doors), bookcases, shoe cabinets, wine cabinets, and other panel furniture, especially suitable for areas requiring moisture resistance such as kitchens and bathrooms (edge sealing is required).
2. Wall and Ceiling Decoration: Laminated particle board is used as wainscoting, feature walls, ceiling base layers, or finishes (e.g., in commercial spaces and office partitions), allowing for paint-free construction and faster project completion.
3. Tabletop and Countertop Substrate: Laminated particle board is used as the core material for computer desks, office desks, dining tables, etc., with a surface veneer providing a wear-resistant and stain-resistant layer (not for direct contact with heavy objects or high-temperature stovetops).
4. Doors and Partitions: Laminated particle board can be used as the core material for interior swing or sliding doors, with a veneer mimicking wood grain/patterns; it is also used for lightweight partition wall panels.
5. Customized Interior Components: Such as bathroom cabinets, niches, display shelves, stair treads, baseboards, and other interior detailing components.
