Medium Density Fibreboards can be categorized by raw material type into Raw Plain MDF Boards, fire-rated MDF sheets, and moisture-rated MDF panels. Based on appearance, they can be divided into high-gloss PET MDF sheets, high-gloss UV MDF boards, laminated MDF, melamine-faced MDF, slotted grooved MDF, and wood veneer MDF. Based on grade, they can be classified as E1 medium density fiberboards, E2 medium density fiberboards, and E0 medium density fiberboards.

Based on appearance, they can be divided into high-gloss PET MDF sheets, high-gloss UV MDF boards, laminated MDF, melamine-faced MDF, slotted grooved MDF, and wood veneer MDF. Based on grade, they can be classified as E1 medium density fiberboards, E2 medium density fiberboards, and E0 medium density fiberboards.
Medium-density fiberboards are made from wood or other plant fibers, coated with urea-formaldehyde resin or other synthetic resins, and pressed under heat and pressure. They have a density ranging from 0.50 to 0.88 g/cm³. Other additives may be added to improve the board’s properties.
Medium-density fiberboards have excellent physical and mechanical properties and processability, and can be manufactured in various thicknesses. Therefore, they are widely used in the furniture manufacturing, construction, and interior decoration industries. Medium Density Fibreboards are homogeneous, porous materials with excellent acoustic properties, making them ideal for speaker boxes, television casings, and musical instruments. Furthermore, they can be used in applications such as ships, vehicles, sports equipment, flooring, wall panels, and partitions, replacing natural wood. Their low cost, ease of processing, and high utilization rate make them more economical than natural wood.
